I am so thankful for you. I’m so glad that you were here for me the whole time, I wouldn’t have been able survive. Thanks for all the hangouts, letting me meet your friends, and just being around for me. A lot has happened since August, and it’s nice knowing that you’ve been able to experience things with me. I’m so lucky to have one of my best friends here in SD. I’ll always be by your side, and soon, I’ll be just down the hall. I can’t wait for next year, I promise I’ll make you proud.
The first time we talked, I knew that we would be super close. I know I wasn’t around as much as I should, but you never gave up on me. It made me happy that you said you would miss me, I used to be so negative thinking that you didn’t like All the time we spent living together made me realize how good of a friend you are. I’ll miss the memories in our room.
From the first night we met, you’ve always had my back. I didn’t expect myself to trust a stranger so easily, but thank goodness I did. You’ve helped me this year with so much, whether it be dealing with things in and out of the classroom. You spoil me, made me achieve the freshman 50, and now I finally have the older brother I’ve always wanted.
I can’t believe the room of “super corny Filipinos” is now my family. Time to give back to the org that has made my freshman year so memorable.
We made it. I know long distance is the worst, but good thing I’m stubborn and made you hold on. To end my simpin, you’re the best.
I can finally leave my dorm and see you three again. Sometimes I feel selfish because I’m enjoying myself so much here, but I’m doing all of this to make you proud. I’m doing my best, and I think I’m doing a pretty good job at it. I’ll be home in a few days.
I know I didn’t talk to any of you much in the past school year, but don’t worry, I didn’t forget you.
I’m proud of myself. This year has been so memorable, and as much as I complain about everything, I loved it all.
